Last month was the monki cool jeans party in Hamburg. Free drinks, candy and 90s music - oh and of course jeans. All pins, colours and glitter. That and the pink light were the only colour in that room, everybody wore black. Black boots, tights, dress and handbag - just the way I like it.
The monday after I went to 'TK Maxx' to get something cheap for the summer, but only found a few shirts. I had more luck with Monki and Weekday, where I boughtthe white XXL printed shirt from the summer collection, a brand new tight Cheap Monday Jeans and a Monki shirt for 2€.
On the way to Urban Outfitters we were interviewed by ZDF (german television - comparable to BBC I guess). They asked a few questions about 'Germanys Next Supermodel' and we both told them that its all about money making and that it's a bit of a bore... who the fuck is Heidi Klum?? Like Karl Lagerfeld said, she would never be on the catwalk in Paris...
Later I allowed myself a Sachertorte and a "Auferstehungkaffee", while my feet enjoyed the break.
What else?
The sun is shining and I'm in a happy mood today.
We're planning a trip to scotland or ireland. I would like to stay in Dublin for a day or so and then rent a house or hotel where we could go on a hike and enjoy the nature. Scotland would be great too, but I was already in Edingburgh, Glasgow and and on a daytrip in the Highlands. We'll see.

Ach ja, im März erscheint die Kollektion von Peter Jensen für Weekday. Ich habe keine Lust darüber zu schreiben, schließllich gibt es bei Les Mads einen kleinen Bericht sowie Fotos vom Pressebrunch bei der Kopenhagener fashion week. Warum also die Mühe?
Lest selbst bei Interesse.
Es sind aber auch tolle Schuhe!!
Solche ein Paar Buckle Boots will ich schon seit Menschengedenken. Bei Weekday erscheinen immer wieder Bilder von Shootings wo ähnliches getragen wird, aber soviel ich weiß verkaufen sie diese nicht - hoffentlich irgendwann doch.
Aus Frust, aber auch weil ich sie mochte, hatte ich mir letztens von Urban Outfitters Halbschuhe gekauft, flach, eng und spitz, aber diese hier sind eigendlich ein Must-have.

Die üblichen Shops frontlines, urban outfitters, monki wurden durchsucht, aber erst bei Amazon fand ich meine Tasche. So schlicht und schön. Phynès Paris, sagt das jemanden etwas? Echt Leder, schön groß für den ganzen Kram, den ich immer mit mir herumtrage und günstig. Jetzt fehlt mir nur noch die Hose von Carhartt, die ich schon längst kaufen wollte... wer sagt denn, dass mich die Kriese des Einzelhandels nicht berührt, ich habe meinen Teil getan und das Weihnachtsgeld geopfert.

Die Schweden können es mal wieder am besten. Das sieht man auch beim Label Nakka. Zusammenarbeit mit WEEKDAY, der Marke, die uns erschwingliche Designermode ermöglicht und erst kürzlich den ersten Shop außerhalb eröffnete – in, genau, Hamburg!
Die Frühlingskollektion “Orchid Club” betitelt, gibt es jetzt zu bestaunen.
Allgegenwärtig in dieser Kollektion, ist die Liebe zu schwarzen, langen Stoffen. Bei den Frauen auch gerne Lila oder verziert Silbern. Besonderer Hingucker und mein absoluter Favourit: Shirts mit schief angenähte Stoffen. Ansonsten gerade Linien oder sackartig.
Die Schnitte sind dynamisch und immer puristisch, es leben die 80er und der frühe The Cure Gothik-Look!

Am 06. November gehts es auf der Mönkebergstraße los...und auch Weekday öffnet seine Pforten.
Wenn das nicht mal ein Grund zur Freude ist.
Dann gibts vielleicht auch dort die sehr netten Stücke aus der neuen Wintercollection, die ich mir schon rausgesucht habe.
